Just thought I would ask out there in Sith land who is going to see ep 1 in 3D? Around here our garrison is gearing up for theater events and so forth. I plan on seeing the movie right after work Friday the 10th before the crowds come. ..and the prices shoot up.

I'm going to be doing an event with my Garrison at one of our local theaters on the 10th. I think we're going to get in for free, as one of our members works at the theater, & is in good with the theater manager! Should be fun!

I would like to see the film in a theater before it goes away. But it would mean a two hour drive and likely a hotel room over night because the nearest digital theater is 150 miles away. I guess one of the few drawbacks to rural living.
Most of my garrison will be trooping the opening night of the film release. Personally I do not care to sit and watch a show while half dressed in a sweaty costume. I just don't get it. I recall upsetting some when I wouldn't dress as Vader for the Star Wars in concert show. I went wearing a suit and black tie and sat and enjoyed the show. It cost my wife and I nearly 300, but 5th row, center stage is much better than nose bleed and obstructed view for free.
I'm going to be Darth Vader with about 40-60 other costumers that have posted so far from the 501st, Rebel Legion, The Mandalorian Mercs and Sithlords from The Dark Empire. We all are are trooping the opening night of the film release on Thursday the 9th. Planning on trooping it from 8pm-1145pm changing and then watching it all together. The theater is giving us free passes and popcorn and cokes too! Since the midnight show will be mostly the true Star Wars fans and kids will most likely not get to come to it because of school we are trooping it again that Saturday from 1130am -2pm also. It should be a packed house, its been announced on the radio stations plus the theater has posted fliers up. Im super excited!
