I have been wanting to start offering full cape sets for some time. I have this idea that I can make a set with only one trip to the ER per set for sewing machine puncture wounds to some part of my anatomy.
Actually they are not all that hard to make. But I would want to hire someone to come in and do the work under supervision while I fill other orders.
That would have been fun... Traveling to the States to make Vader costumes!! wouldn't be the first Norwegian in history to emigrate to the USA. I actualy have many relatives over there! ^^
Its sad that its almost impossible to produce Vader costume parts here in Norway. The biggest marked is in the States and materials here costs more then twice or maybe tripple... and a 100 dollars just to ship something out of the country! just wouldnt profit..
on to the topic:
I found this on sithtrainingtemple.. is this a useable tutorial?
Yea, that should work just fine. For mine what I did was just copied a bathrobe that I had. Split the seams and made the necessary changes to the pattern to suit the needs of the inner robe. Again, really is a simple piece to make. The bitch is making the outer cape. You will need allot of table space to do the work.
