I am Darth Katz (real name is Andrea). I am a female and a very large, behemith Anakin/DV fan! My collection would tell it all! I live in Kalamazoo, Mi and work with special kids. I also am working on my Grad degree in OT. I am currently piecing together a ROTJ suit. I only know of one other female who did Vader. Sure wish there were more. I saw ROTJ in the theater in 83' and it was my only one I saw in the theater. I guess this has a special place for me. I started collecting then. I was a bit too young for ANH, and I don't know what happened of why I could not see ESB.
I am part of the Great Lakes garrison and currently NCS for many events.
Well I juts found this forum this morning. I'm the owner of one of the first DS 20C casts when they were still white. Just wanted to stop in and say Hi.
Errr...I haven't done anything with the face plate since I got it other than some comparison shots with the DPD which I posted on the Prop Den 18 months ago (I think).
It seems that someof these faceplates have changed hands a few times. I can't seem to keep strait who has what anymore. And add to that some folks, not you apparently, have more than one screen name.
I've always been Dark Lord on the Den, I used to be DL on the SLD till it was changed for me, and on the RPF until an update changed it to my sign-in name as it was different.
I'll say your glass work as come a long way in the last 18 months, those early white Vader face plates were a little rough, but your current work is stunning.
Someday I'd like to do a comparison of the DS20C to my TM, but I just don't have time at the moment and the white and black face will made for an off comparison.
Hi Andreas! You have somewhat the same name as me! Nice to meet you!

Hello everyone! My name is Andreas
I am a 22 year old star wars fan from Norway. Just a Padawan compared to the other guys in here
I have been a star wars fan since childhood and my first Vader was a lego.. The Darth Vader helmet has been an obsession for me since then, and now i can soon finaly have one of my own
Other than that i work on two tugboats as a mechanic apprentice and we operate along the cost of Norway. I have a 4 month old son and a lovely girlfriend. My son was just about 2 months old when i bought him his first Vader bubblehead
And know that i soon have the helmet, the thoughts of assembling the whole costume has hit me and maybe i too will be able to join the 501st. But until then the helmet will be locked & secured into a glassdome

Good morning, congratulations on your forum and your excellent website I just found this site while looking on various forums for a Vader helmet
I am a member from the 501st (Texas-Star Garrison) and a big Vader fan, I have been trooping on my ROTJ Vader for little more of a year now and he needs some TLC and upgrades, I'm hoping you can point me into the right direction for a helmet and a new set of chest armor
My name is Ryan and I have been interested in assembling an ESB Vader costume for a few years now. Unfortunately, the onset of this interest corresponded with my undergraduate years in college and so, due to financial constraints, Vader was not an option. Now that I have a small bit more financial freedom as a grad student working on my Ph.D. in organic chemistry (at The Scripps Research Institute, if you were interested), I figured I would start the slow buildup to a full Vader suit. After scouring the RPF and 501st Sith Lord detachment for the best ESB Vader helm in terms of accuracy, price and practical trooping utility I came upon Kent's website here and decided to sign up for the forum. I think I will start this new project with one of Kent's ESB trooping helms and go from there :)
